O Bolsista do Helton Jose Oliveira Fernandes, desenvolve um protótipo de estação meteorológica, empregando princípios da plataforma Arduino, sendo uma prototipagem eletrônica open hardware, a qual permite a criação de um sistema em linguagem C/C++, e banco de dados MySql.

Tal banco de dados possibilita a geração de relatórios, gráficos, análises on-line, via Internet ou rede local, utilizando para isso uma interface chamada Ethernet Shield que permite a comunicação do Arduino ao servidor que armazenará os dados coletados e os processará para serem apresentados on-line.
